I met the owner of NU-U Laser and Aesthetics, Ruth Wild Dewar, when I went for my first IPL hair removal treatment. She's one of those people you instantly connect with: she has a sparkling personality, makes you feel at ease (which is very important when people see very intimate parts of you), and just has a generous, kind, and open heart. I later found out that my personal trainer, Nicola Few, also knew her and also proclaimed her praises, saying what a lovely person she is.

I happened to do a little self-promotion to Ruth like, 'Hey, if you ever need some blogs written and some website content, I can do that.' She asked me to send her a proposal and I did and, thankfully, she hired me.

Ruth already has an established business in Hebden Bridge but after business rebranding and a name change, she wanted to work on building and establishing her new brand. I'm really excited to work with her this year and beyond.

Ruth is incredibly professional, discreet, and knowledgeable about her craft. She explains every procedure in detail with clinical precision. Before my first IPL laser treatment, she did a consultation, a test patch, and took my complete medical history. She explained what it would feel like and put my mind to rest. She gave realistic expectations for the procedure. I've now had a few facials (amazing!) and the IPL hair removal treatment and can't wait to try more!

For NU-U Laser and Aesthetics, I now serve as their freelance Head of Business Development.
